A life coach is an independent person who will help with your specific goals, whether personal or professional. They can also be known as a confidence coach, mindset coach or business coach, as well as a myriad of other descriptions. A life coach is not there to give advice, act as a mentor or be your therapist. They will support you with specific projects, goals and personal development by looking at your current situation with you, identifying challenges and bringing insight, empathy and objectivity to allow you to overcome those challenges and achieve whatever your specific outcomes are.
It’s important to remember that whilst a life coach isn’t a therapist, they will accompany you on your journey, supporting, understanding and encouraging you so you don’t have to be alone in the pursuit of personal growth. They will give you the tools to unlock your potential and allow you to maximise your own performance.
