scrolling endlessly. But this is just temporary and doesn’t solve the problem. A more effective, long-lasting approach involves looking after your whole wellbeing.
We can start with self-care basics such as getting enough sleep, eating balanced meals and staying active. It’s a good idea to avoid excessive caffeine, alcohol or screen time and try to take small rest breaks during your day.
Practicing relaxation & mindfulness can help, like breathing techniques, progressive muscle relaxation, meditation or yoga. Maybe try journalling to express emotions, especially when guilt or overwhelm build up.
Creating boundaries for ourselves is important, too. Learn to say no without guilt – your energy isn’t limitless. And learn to delegate, outsource, or accept help from friends or family. They want to help and wouldn’t offer if they didn’t mean it.
Remember to stay connected with other people and don’t isolate yourself. Talk about how you feel as emotional support is a proven buffer against stress. Don’t try to solve it all alone –connection helps restore balance.
