I offer flexible thinking. I give you the chance to stop, pause and breathe. It is not a luxury or indulgence but a form of self-care. Invest in yourself now and you ‘ll quickly see the results. It is vital to look after yourself from within, to maintain yourself and keep checking in with your mental health. It’s just as important as your physical health.
Coaching is available and accessible to all. It’s about the cost of a daily cup of coffee – but far more rewarding. Unfortunately, coaching often comes with pre-conceptions and can be underrated and dismissed as ‘it’s not for me’. But how do you know until you’ve tried? It is not the same as counselling. In a nutshell, coaching looks at the future, how you can move forward and develop rather than look back and try to repair what’s happened in the past. It encourages you to come to your own solutions.
I offer bespoke sessions that meet your unique needs. These could be regular sessions or more ad hoc to help you manage pinch points and allow you to move on from a stuck place. Whatever you go with, you will get accountability and support throughout the time you are working with me. Speaking with a coach can be a big help in dealing with overwhelm and all its debilitating side effects.
Just look at some of the reported effects of stress:
- 79% of people frequently experience work-related stress (Statistica)
- 7% of UK adults feel stressed every day (CIPHR)
- 74% of people have been overwhelmed or unable to cope (Mental Health Foundation and YouGov)
- 51% of adults who felt stressed also felt depressed and 61% reported feeling anxious (Mental Health Foundation and YouGov)
- 13.7 million working days are lost each year in the UK because of work-related stress, anxiety and depression (NICE)
In addition, the Workplace Health Report: 2022 found the following:
- 33% of employees report moderate-to-high or high levels of stress
- 28% report that high levels of stress impact productivity
- The top cause of work-related stress is workload (78%)
The world is undoubtedly becoming more and more fast-paced and if we try and keep going at 100 miles an hour all the time, we will burn out. We all need a support system and this can be where coaching kicks in for you.
Don’t struggle on alone. Be kind to yourself. This is the time to invest in yourself, so why not give it a go? You won’t know until you try. What is holding you back?
